I find the most wonderful person. In a city that feels like it’s full of the skeeviest people. And it’s incredible, and I’m genuinely happy, and it feels like I’ve found a best friend in somebody I could really come to care deeply about. and then they have to leave.

And I’m just so sad.

So here it is everyone, the Steve Martin monologue that was a tribute to Gilda Radner.  She had died that afternoon, the same day as the season finale.  While Steve is presenting the “Dancing in the Dark” sketch (from the Steve Martin/Blues Brothers episode) he’s trying to hold back tears.  This was just an unforgettable SNL moment that crushes your heart when you watch it.

You guys should totally be following AJ. The dude unearths SNL treasures left and right. (This is a prime example. Excuse me while I go sop up the river on my face.)
